William Clarke of Congers, N.Y., passed away peacefully on January 18, 2024.
Bill was a long-time resident of Rockland, having lived in Haverstraw, Stony Point, and Congers. He graduated from Don Bosco High School in Ramsey, NJ, and St. Frances College in Loretta, PA.
Bill married Eileen Switzer of Congers in 1965 at St. Paul’s Church. He is survived by his children William, Kathleen, Christine, and Eileen, as well as his six grandchildren, of whom he was very proud.
The family will receive friends on Friday, the 25th, at Higgins Funeral Home from 4 to 8 pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Paul’s Church at 10 am, and burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
