John Ricciardi of New City, NY, 58 years old, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2021. John grew up on Long Island, NY and had been raising his family in New City for over 20 years. He was born on September 15, 1962 to Russ and Daisy Ricciardi. John was an avid basketball and soccer player and fan, but his greatest joy came from his family. He loved being involved in his children’s activities as a coach and mentor. He is survived by his loving wife Maureen (nee Costello) and his 4 loving children, Jack, Katie, Molly and Matt. He is also survived by his mother Daisy, sisters Nancy and Joanne and brother Rick. He was predeceased by his father Russ. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Family will receive friends on Thursday from 3-7pm at Higgins Funeral Home in Congers, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, 10am, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, West Nyack, followed by interment at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.
