John Doria, 82 passed away peacefully September 13, 2022. John was a resident of Congers for 52 years.
He was born on January 15, 1940 to Pasqual and Anna Doria of New Rochelle, NY. He married Josephine in 1970 to start their life in Congers. He is also survived by his three children Donna (Dennis), Michael, and Joseph. His four grandchildren Joey, Corrine, Daniel, Thomas and several nieces and nephews. John loved working on cars and was the owner of I&D Auto Body in Pleasantville, NY for over 30 years. John was able to make any car look new again. He was always busy around the house fixing this or that. Grass was cut with precision as the closets were painted with detail. He also loved watching cowboys and Indians, car shows on TV. John loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
Friends and family can visit on Sunday, September 18th, from 2-6 at Higgins Funeral Home, 113 Lake Road East, Congers NY. A Mass will be held Monday, September 19 at 11:30 am at St. Paul's Church, 82 Lake Road Congers NY.
