Anthony Villa

He was 51 years old. Tony was born to Anthony and Rita Villa in Albuquerque, New Mexico on July 1, 1972. He graduated from St. Pius X high school in 1990 before attending & graduating college at Colorado University in Boulder, Colorado. He married Jeannine Danner on October 11, 2008, and they grew into a family of five with the births of three daughters, Annabelle, Reese and Madison.

Tony was very proud of his girls and always spoke highly of them. With Jeannine, they were always taking the girls to soccer, basketball and softball practices and somehow found time to get them to religious classes at the nearby catholic church. He loved to cook, was good at photography, and loved watching movies; especially if a good movie came out, he would take the family to the movie theater to get the best experience! He showed the girls what it was like growing up in New Mexico, including movies on the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Tony and Jeannine would also take the girls on big vacation road trips including a trip down to Disney World in Florida. Other trips included going to big water parks, Legoland and Tony introducing the whole family to skiing.

You can’t speak about Tony unless you include his past and present fur babies! From Taffy and Moose (now deceased) to the newest dog, Missy, he loved them all! With Jeannine, he gave all three dogs the best care. Taffy and Moose lived to old age, and Missy is a well-behaved loving dog! Tony is survived by his wife of 15 years, Jeannine Villa, and three daughters, Annabelle, Reese and Madison. He is also survived by Rita Villa (mother), Brian& Joan Danner (father-in-law & mother-in-law), Elaine Villa & Michael Gallegos (sister & brother-in-law), Tina & Larry Green (sister & brother-in-law), Angela Villa (sister), Ken & Patty Danner (brother-in-law & sister-in-law), Patrick Sanchez (nephew), Kristina (niece) & Chris Stasny, Carmen Green (niece), Aidan Danner (nephew), Jonathan Danner (nephew) and Clare Danner (niece). He also was a great-uncle to Tryston Nicoli Sanchez, Jocelyn Rae Hoffert and Aspen Senja Stasny! He was predeceased in death by Alexander Ryan Villa (son), Anthony Villa Jr. (father) and David Michael Sanchez (nephew).

A viewing will be held Thursday December 28, 2023, 4:00 – 7:00pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service (113 Lake Rd, Congers, NY). A funeral mass will be held Friday December 29, 2023, at 10:00am at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish (128 Parrot Road in West Nyack, NY) followed by a burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, New Jersey).
