Ted H. Kolodziej

Ted married Mary Osborne of Pittsfield in 1957. They enjoyed fifty eight years together and eventually settled on Ricker Road in Loudon. In July of 2013 they moved to a personal care facility in Pennsylvania to be near their daughters.

Those who miss Ted include his children Jane Gruen, Carole Erickson, Brian and Bruce Kolodziej and their families. He was Granddad to Sarah, Rachel, Hannah, Abbey, Lydia and Connor plus proud great-grandfather to Jonathan. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

A graduate of Central High School in 1942, Ted furthered his education at New Hampshire College in Manchester. He earned a degree in Accounting and retired from the State of NH in 1987.

The son of Polish immigrants, Ted remembered growing up in Manchester and walking to the library every day as a child to borrow a book only to read it and return it for another the next day. He loved to swim at a public pool with his friend Hank. His sisters were Stella and Edna. Over the years he coached a little league team and was in a bowling league. He spent many summer days swimming in NH lakes or driving around the countryside with his family. He loved his home state.

Funeral Services for Ted will be held Saturday, May 27th, at 1:30pm at Loudon Congregational Church, Loudon. Interment following in Moore Cemetery.
