Sue was born in Chicago, Illinois, on June 29, 1934, the daughter of Edwin J. McInerney and Lucille White.
Sue graduated from Evanston Township High School. She loved to sing and participated in the choral program in high school and later was accepted into the music program at Northwestern University.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a special "Mimi".
During her working years she lived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Sue worked at Imperial Point Hospital for many years and retired from there.
Sue enjoyed working on her loom and sold some of her handmade creations at local stores. She also enjoyed running, rollerblading and walking on the beach.
She was a literacy volunteer for middle school children in the Fort Lauderdale area.
Sue was predeceased by her husband Edgar Fisher in 2005 and her sister Marilyn Perry in 1981. She is survived by her children, Sam Murdough, Jr. and wife, Bev of Vero Beach, Florida and her daughter, Debbie Lyford and husband Jeff of Ashland, New Hampshire as well as four grandchildren, Jamie Lyford and wife Jenn of Ashland, Melissa Willey and husband Shawn of Gorham, Maine, Ryan Murdough of Tilton, NH and Randi Murdough of Vero Beach, FL. Sue has eleven great grandchildren as well as two nieces and one nephew, Susan P. McBride, Jean A. Cedeno and Stuart Perry of Austin, TX.
The family extends their most sincere appreciation for the compassionate care she received at Littleton Regional Hospital.
Sue loved her two cats, Rufus and Lucy. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the New Hampshire Humane Society at 1305 Meredith Center Road, Laconia, NH 03246.
A memorial service will be held at the Bennett Funeral Home on 209 North Main Street Concord on June 25th at 2:00 p.m.
