George Campbell, 70, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012 at his home in Boscawen.
Born in Bangor, Maine, he was the son of Clarence and Vera (Skillin) Derosia.
He worked at Rivco for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, camping, carpentry, NASCAR, collecting eagles and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy J. (Weatherbee) Campbell of Boscawen; seven children, Michael Campbell, Judith Babbitt, Brian Campbell, Sherwood Campbell II, Cheryl Brown-Thibeault, Terry Davanelos and Lisa Campbell; two sisters Diane Wright and Sharon Merchant; his brother Eddie Campbell; he shared a special closeness with grandchildren Stacie Brown, Tonya Brown, Joshua Brown, Megan Thibeault, Michael Campbell II; and several other grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents; two children, Howard Brown Jr. and Tammy Brown; and by two brothers William Derosia and Robert Derosia.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 5pm-7pm at the Bennett Funeral Home 3 Church Street Chapel (the Brick Building).
Funeral services will take place at 11am on Friday, April 20, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the CRVNA Hospice Program, 30 Pillsbury Street, Concord, NH 03301.
The Bennett Funeral Home of Concord is in charge of the arrangements.
