Robert D. Hilliard Jr.

He was born in Concord, NH on May 19, 1938 to Robert and Barbara (Marshall) Hilliard.

He was a graduate of Manchester Central High School, class on 1956 and graduated with a B.A. degree in political science from the University of New Hampshire in 1960.

After serving in the United States Air Force, he had a successful sales career in the office products industry and was the National Sales Manager for the Chicago based CST Group, Inc.

In 1993 he relocated to Marco Island, Florida, where he lived for 15 years before returning to New Hampshire in 2009.

Family members include his wife Shirley of Pembroke, NH; and two children, Jennifer Hilliard DeMason of West Friendship, MD and Robert Hilliard, III of Boston, MA.

In his life: He was very active in the community throughout his life. He was a member of Washington Masonic Lodge 61 Knights Templar and Ruth Chapter of the Eastern Star. He also served on the vestry of Grace Episcopal Church in Manchester, NH, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Doylestown, PA and St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Marco Island, FL. He was an active member of the vestry at All Saints Anglican Church in Concord, NH. He was a long time supporter of the University of New Hampshire football and was a member of the UNH 100 Club. He enjoyed a wide range of music, from Rock N Roll to Opera, and loved worldwide traveling.

Visiting hours will not be held.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 10am at the All Saints Anglican Church (Concordia Lutheran Building) 211 N. Main Street, Concord. The Very Reverend Christian Canon Tudor will officiate.

Burial will be held at a later date.
