Robert Henry Fino

It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Henry Fino of Weare, New Hampshire, who died unexpectedly on April 26, 2023 at Concord Hospital. Bob was born on March 8, 1947 to Matthew H. Fino and Martha T. (Lozouski) Fino. He grew up in Framingham, Massachusetts, where he attended Marian High School. Upon graduating in 1964, Bob joined the United States Navy and served honorably on the USS Repose hospital ship in Vietnam as a Hospital Corpsman/OR Technician.

Bob met the love of his life, Lucinda R (Grogan) Fino, while they served together in the Navy. The couple married in 1966 and remained lifelong best friends. After returning home, he entered service in the Framingham Fire department and served 32 years as a Firefighter, EMTI, achieving the rank of Lieutenant. While working full-time and raising his young family, Bob earned his Bachelor's of Science degree from Worcester State University.

A devoted husband and wonderful father, Bob was happiest spending time with his family. Above all, he was passionate and proud of his grandchildren and embraced every moment spent with them.

Predeceased by his parents Matthew and Martha Fino and his brother, Paul Matthew Fino, Sr. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Lucinda, son Daniel C. Fino and his wife, Maura (Von Braun) Fino, son Dean C. Fino and his wife, Tracey (Lawton) Fino, sister Patricia Fino, and his grandchildren Christopher, Cameron, Samantha, and Nicholas, and nephew Paul Matthew Fino, Jr.

His family welcomes you to join them in celebrating his life on Monday, May 8, 2023 with Visitation from 9am till 11am at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N Main Street, Concord, NH 03301; Funeral Mass to follow at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, 158 Old W Hopkinton Road, Henniker, NH 03242. Interment with full military honors will immediately follow at NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Northfield, NH 03303. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Concord Hospital Trust by mail to 250 Pleasant Street, Concord, NH 03301.
