Paul McDonald 73, died Thursday, September 13th at Merrimack County Nursing Home surrounded by his family. He was born on Jan. 16, 1939 to the late Genevieve (Mullen) McDonald of Lawrence, MA and father Ralph Paul McDonald of Concord, NH.
Paul was a US Veteran to the Korean War, a lifelong resident of Concord and worked at Stop & Shop, Wilbur's Silver Star Hardware and Steenbeck and Son’s Hardware while volunteering at St. John's Church.
He leaves two sons, Andrew McDonald of Greenwich Village, NYC and Matthew McDonald of Austin, TX; a sister Sue DeCosmo, her husband Ronald DeCosmo of Delaware, a niece in Maryland and two nephews in Arizona.
A graveside service will be held at 1pm, Tuesday, September 18th at Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord, NH. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation be made to: National Stroke Association: 9707 E Easter Lane Suite B Centennial, CO 80112.
The Bennett Funeral Home of Concord is in charge of the arrangements.
