Michelle was an avid equestrian, competing nationally; a member of the LHS Swim Team; a motorcycle rider; a snowmobile rider; a mountain biker; a skier and water skier as well as a scrappy Women’s Ice Hockey player. She especially loved her work as CFO and VP of the Metzger-McGuire Company.
The pride and joy of her life was being with her son, Kyle and daughter, Kaitlyn. Whether it was as a part of the McKinnon clan at the lake or it was supporting them at athletics, Mitch was their greatest fan and cheerleader. She also immensely enjoyed being in the company of her partner, Jim Marchillo on all of their many outdoor activities.
What most people will remember about Mitch is her beautiful smile, positive outlook and generous nature. She gave unstintingly of herself and as such was an outstanding partner, mother and role model to all who knew her. Even during the worst of her illness, she kept her big smile and her joy for life that was nothing less than infectious to all those around her.
Besides her children, Kyle and Kaitlyn, Michelle is survived by her Mother Jeannette, her brother John and her partner Jim Marchillo. A Celebration of Life will be held in Concord at the Bennett Funeral Home (209 North Main Street, Concord NH) on 10/4/24 from 5-7pm.
The family would especially like to thank Mitch’s nurses, Susan Vincent and Kathy Read, and the wonderful staffs at Mass General Hospital, Compassus Hospice Services and the High Pointe House Hospice for all of their love, kindness and support with Michelle’s care.
