She was born in Lynn, Massachusetts on November 30, 1941 a daughter of Joseph and Helen (Tingley) Mahan. She grew up in Concord, New Hampshire where she attended St. John’s School and graduated from St. John’s High School.
Jolene, along with her husband Donald, was the proprietor of the Blue Bowl Store in Deerfield for over twenty five years. She had a great love of family.
She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Donald F. Smith of Deerfield; 5 children, Debra Smith; Wendy Rappa and her husband, James; David Smith and his wife Linda; Donald Smith and his wife Beth Skoog and Glenda Smith; 3 brothers, Joseph Mahan and his wife Irene and Scott and Carl Savage; 6 grandchildren, Cassidy, Joshua and Gary Jr. Clark; Alan and Cody Lloyd and Isaac Smith; 1 Great Grandson,Drew Clark; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday. February 9 at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 10 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 72 South Main Street, Concord. Interment will be held in the spring.
