John H. Welch

He was born May 13, 1933, in Concord, the son of John E. and

Eva (Barker) Welch.

Mr. Welch served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.

He retired from the printing industry in 2005. Following his retirement, he enjoyed RV camping and riding the back roads of New Hampshire.

Mr. Welch was predeceased by his daughter, Cindy Lou (Welch) Hodgman and his brothers, Stanley and Charles. He is also predeceased by several of his half brothers and his half sisters.

He leaves his wife of 42 years, Claudette (Cutting) Welch of Contoocook; his son, John H. Welch, Jr. and his fiancé Karen Lucier of Concord; his brother, William F. Welch and his wife Edna of Chichester; 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews and former son in law and close family friend, Rick Hodgman of Washington, NH .

A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, March 29 from 5 to 8 P.M. at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main Street, Concord.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, 2 Commerce Drive, Bedford, NH 03110.
