John B. Welch

John Bennett Welch, 64, of Concord, NH, a retired physician, died in an airplane crash on November 10, 2010. He was born and raised in Wilmette, Illinois, and graduated from Harvard University and the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago.

John was preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia Welch in 2009.

Survivors include:

his daughter Kathryn McBride and her husband Brent of Dyersburg, TN; a daughter Jennifer Welch-Goings of Atlanta, GA and two sons; William Welch of Fitchburg, MA and John Welch-Goings of Keene, NH.

stepdaughers Julie Scaramella, Gina Scaramella and Marisa Scaramella, and stepson Thomas Scaramella and their families;

his siblings Nancy Welch of Deland, FL; Michael Welch of San Diego, CA; Marion Welch O'Neill of Overland Park, KS; and Sylvia Welch of Piermont, NY,

and the children of his deceased brother, Howard A. Welch, Jr.: John Welch, William Welch and Anne Welch.

Visitation will be at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Concord, from 5pm-8pm on Friday, November 19, 2010 and the funeral will take place at St. Paul's Episcopal Church at 11am on Saturday, November 20, 2010. Interment will follow at Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord.
