John Arthur Margeson

He was born August 31, 1957, in Weymouth, Massachusetts, the son of late Elmir and Barbara Margeson. He was the youngest of two siblings.

He moved to New Hampshire where he met his wife while working together at Peterborough Ford. On June 28, 1986, he married Sandra Jean Costa of Middleboro, Massachusetts, in Henniker, New Hampshire, where they have spent the last 36 years together. John was a volunteer firefighter for the town of Henniker for 26 years and served as 2nd Lieutenant and Deputy Chief for part of his time there. He spent many years working for the town of Henniker where he was the road agent.

He enjoyed camping with his family, riding motorcycles and tinkering on various automotive projects in his garage. In 1989 he became a proud father and in 2021 a proud papa to his only grandchild. He was also a great friend to many.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Margeson of Henniker, NH; daughter, son in-law and grandson, Bethany, Sean, and Gavin McNally of Gray, ME; and sister Roberta Margeson of Massachusetts.

A celebration of life will be planned for a future date.
