Jane Norma Unger

Born in Enfield, NH on May 16, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Henry A. Laramie and his late wife, Josephine (Bill).

She lived most of her life in Concord where she was a homemaker dedicated to her family as well as an avid golfer, bowler, and bridge player, winning many tournaments over 4 decades at the Concord Country Club where she was a longtime member. She enjoyed traveling to Florida each year with her husband of 62 years. Jane also enjoyed traveling across country several times and many cruises with her husband and family. Her sparkling eyes, infectious laugh and competitive spirit will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her husband Raymond; three sons; David and his wife Barbara of Hopkinton, NH; Robert and his wife Marci of West Chester, OH and Richard and his wife Kathleen of Hebron, KY. Mrs. Unger is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, dear family friend Monica Unger, and several nieces and nephews, who loved her presence in the world.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Henry and George, nephew Richard Laramie and niece Jane Laramie.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 1, 2010 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Concord, NH.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 2, 2010 at the funeral home. A reception will follow services at the 3 Church Street Chapel (the Brick Building) at the funeral home.
