Helen Morrill Sanborn

Helen celebrated her 89th birthday on August 22nd. She was the daughter of Harry F. and Hazel Morrill of Concord and the sister of Ralph H. Morrill of Gilford.

Helen graduated from Concord High School in 1945. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper at law offices in Rutland, Vermont and Laconia, New Hampshire. She was an avid knitter, organist and loved traveling to York Beach on a whim. Helen loved her summers spent at Rumney Bible Conference and instilled her spiritual values in her children.

Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband of 64 years, Edwin E. Sanborn. Other family members include three children and their spouses Janet Henry and Stephen of Farmington, CT, Edwin (Ted) Sanborn Jr. and Jennifer of Murfreesboro, TN, and Gayle Fulk and Stephen of Concord, NH. She was a loving grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held at Bennett Funeral Home, Tuesday, September 13th beginning at 1 pm followed by a funeral service at 2 pm and a procession to Leavitt Cemetery in Chichester.
