In 1962, he began his lifelong career that he loved as a research physicist at AVCO, which later became Textron, in MA and commuted back and forth from Concord until he retired in 1981. After his retirement, he accepted a job as a technical sales engineer representing Applied Measurements where he could work when he wanted across NH, VT, and ME. He continued until 2015.
