Ed was born on April 16, 1926 in Chichester, NH, the son of Alfred J. and Bertha (Bishop) Sanborn.
He graduated from Concord High School in 1944 and proudly served as Technical Sergeant with the 112th Cavalry Regiment in World War II.
Eddie enjoyed traveling through scenic Vermont and New Hampshire as an insurance adjuster for 41 years. In retirement he was a member of the Chichester Historical Society. His favorite pastimes were bowling, skiing and cheering on the Boston Red Sox. His sparkling blue eyes and sense of humor will live on in our hearts forever.
Family members include his beloved wife of 64 years, Helen (Morrill) Sanborn of Concord, NH; three children and their spouses Janet Henry and Stephen of Farmington, CT, Edwin (Ted) Sanborn Jr. and Jennifer of Murfreesboro, TN, and Gayle Fulk and Stephen of Concord, NH. He was a loving grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held at Chichester United Methodist Church Saturday, April 16th beginning at 1 pm followed by a funeral service at 2 pm and a procession to Levitt Cemetery.
