Bruce Henry Young

CONCORD-Bruce Henry Young of Concord passed Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the age of 67 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Born to Thomas and Evangelyn Young of Bow. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved deer hunting with his brothers. He also enjoyed golf, horse shoes and his football pools. But most of all he loved being with his family.

Bruce was a Vietnam Veteran Specialist E4 that served our Country from 1969-1972. He was employed at Universal Packaging Co. for 35 years and recently retired from Pembroke Academy. He was a member of the American Legion Post 21 in Concord.

In addition to his parents Bruce was pre-deceased by his brother, Thomas Young Jr.

He leaves behind his true love of fourteen years Cynthia (Larson) Young; daughter, Jennifer Bartlett and her husband, Charles; his son, Bruce Jr. and his partner, Aimee James; his Step-son, Cory Arsenault; grandchildren, Miranda, Nicholas, Logan, Brooke and Cody; great-granddaughter, Mackenzie; his brothers, David, Robert, Paul Young; his sisters, Patricia Welch, Barbara Scovil, Beverly George, Marilyn Dennison and Brenda Goodwin; many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 9 at 10:30am at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery, 110 DW Hwy Boscawen, NH.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Bruce’s name can be made to the American Legion Concord Post 21 Baseball Team.
