Born in Concord, she was the daughter of Duncan M. & Thelma (Bell) Murdoch.
She was a Concord High School graduate, class of 1960. She went on to attend the NH School of Nursing, graduating in 1963 and then attended the University of NH, graduating in 1974.
Bonnie worked for NH Hospital, the State of NH Department of Health and Human Services, the NH Department of Corrections Mental Health Unit and for Riverbend Community Mental Health, before going into private practice with Peter Delfausse.
She served in the NH Air National Guard for 23 years, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel as a Chief Nurse. She was also a veteran of Desert Storm. Bonnie always considered the Air Guard as her second family and the men and women as brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her brother Robert W. Murdoch, sister in law Khampoon Murdoch; nieces, Noak Smith of Austin, TX, Robin Nagel and her husband Jake Nagel of Detroit, Michigan; Kimberly Murdoch and Mike Parkins of Scottsdale, AZ; and her friend and confidante for over 40 years, Ray Murphy.
She was predeceased by her parents, Duncan and Thelma Murdoch and by her two daughters, Julie Ann and Chistobela Lea.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 from 5p-8p at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Concord.
A graveside service will be held at 9am on Monday, December 24, 2012 at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
