Allan attended Loudon Grade School and Concord High School
He was a veteran of the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He entered US Navy on June 9, 1952 and was discharged on June 4, 1956.
Allan worked for French Brothers Beef Company for many years until he went into business for himself as a dairy farmer and dealer in livestock. He retired in March of 2013.
He was a member of the Corinthian Lodge No. 82, F&AM Pittsfield, the Shriner Bektash Temple in Concord, the American Legion Post 88 in Loudon, NH where he received a 50 year membership award in March of 2009. He was also a Member of the Farm Bureau Federation, and Livestock Dealers Assoc.
Allan was predeceased by his parents, Gustav A.R. Morin and Eva S. Veinotte Morin, and a granddaughter, Jaclyn M. Morin.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Charlene E. (Bishop) Morin 3 children, Richard A. Morin and his wife, Kim, Robert D. Morin and his wife, Sabrina, Tracy E. Huckins and her husband, David all of Loudon; 4 grandchildren Nicole Morin, Cam Morin, Cassidy Huckins, Carly Huckins; 2 step grandchildren Nicco Vizziello and Kyle Vizziello; 1 great grandson Jayce A. Morin all of Loudon; a sister, Shirley Duffett of Danvers, MA and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the Loudon Centre Cemetery in Loudon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Loudon Fire and Rescue or to the charity of one’s choice.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Bennett Funeral Home of Concord.
