Acel was born and lived his entire life in Concord, NH. He was an army veteran and served
in the Korean War.
Acel worked at the Brezner Tannery for five years and at the Rumford Press for a short time
before joining the Dictaphone Corporation where he served as a supervisor for thirty two years
until the company moved to Florida. He then worked at St Paul's School for ten years until his
retirement.
Acel is survived by his wife of 69 years, Gladys M. (Locke) Quimby; sons, Richard, Michael,
Thomas and Steven; three grandsons, Jay, Evan and Marshall; and two great granddaughters
Bailey and Abbey.
He enjoyed working on his home, frequent trips to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun, and being
retired.
Private services will be held at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
