William E. Snyder

William E. Snyder, age 86, of Columbus, Ohio died Saturday, April 2, 2016. William was born on May 5, 1929 in Wooster, Ohio to the late William and Helen (Pauff) Snyder. William enjoyed playing bridge and attending classes at The Ohio State University. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruth (Morris) Snyder; and his siblings, Robert Snyder and Dorothy Hartley. Surviving are his children, Juliet Stoessel, William Snyder, John Snyder and David Snyder; grandchildren, Ashley, Ryan, Samantha, Emily, Nick, Zane, and Sarah; great-grandson, Gideon and sister, Lucille Best. Family will receive friends 6-8 PM on Thursday April 7, 2016 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229 where a prayer service will be held at 7:45 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 AM, Friday, April 8, 2016 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1300 Urban Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43229. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made Mount Carmel School of Nursing, 6150 E. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43213.
