William Bryan Porterfield

William Bryan Porterfield, age 85 of Upper Arlington, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Bill was born and raised in Bladensburg, Ohio, son of the late Oliver and Eileen Porterfield. He graduated from The Ohio State University. Following college, Bill was drafted into the US Army where he proudly served his country. Upon returning home, Bill began working in retail as a fur and coat buyer at The Fashion before opening The Tudor House at Lane Shopping Center. Following, Bill began working for nearly 30 years as a realtor with King Thompson Realty. He was a longtime member of First Community Church, and past President of both the Tri-Village Sertoma and the Northwest Area Realtors. He will be missed by his wife, Patricia Porterfield; children, David Porterfield, Michelle (Jake) Ohler, Stephen (Christy) Porterfield, and Matthew (Ronna) Porterfield; grandchildren, Kalie (Michael) Goverman, Nate, Zach, and Katie Ohler, and Kyle, Nicholas, Caroline, Ellen, Macy, and Ryan Porterfield; siblings, Iris Graham, Nelson (Judy) Porterfield, Luann (Dana) Fulk, and Sue Harris; aunt, Lela Ewart; and other extended family members and dear friends.
