Wellington Randolph “Welly” Webb, 57, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021. He was born March 5, 1964 in Flint, MI. Welly was a graduate of Madison Plains H.S. and attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University and The Ohio State University. He was a very giving person and cherished the time that he spent in the years volunteering for the Huckleberry House, Southside Mission Project, Faith Mission, Volunteers of America, Hooked on Fishing Not on Drugs, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish and hunt. He also had an interest in history and photography. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Webb. Welly is survived by his loving wife of nearly 24 years, Stephanie Painter-Webb; mother, Jane Webb; sister, Nancy (Scott) Jewett Peterman; nephews, Aaron Jewett and Cody Day; niece, Montana Day; and countless people on which he has had an impact as a Patient Care Assistant at The OSU Wexner Medical Center and The James. Visitation will be Friday, March 12, 2021 from 11-1 PM at Schoedinger Grove City, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:45 PM Friday at Forest Cemetery.
