Waneda Webb

A Mass of Christian Burial for Waneda Webb, 95 of Buckeye Lake, will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, with Father William J. Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at Claibourne Cemetery in Union County.

Waneda was born on June 17, 1914 to the late Frank and Louis Wyckoff. She passed away on April 10, 2010 at Tuscany Gardens in Pataskala.

Waneda was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, crafts and sewing. She was also a great cook and baker. Most important in her life was her loving family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and sister.

Survivors include two daughters, Velma “Connie” (Thomas) Pratt of Sebring, FL and Norma “Jean” Park of Buckeye Lake; four brothers, Ralph, Ronald, Harold and Leroy; two sisters, Pansy and Esther; 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, numerous great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Owen Webb; four brothers, Clarence, Elmer, Raymond and Lawrence; and sister, Lily

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Waneda to Hospice of Central Ohio. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Friends may call at the Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 179 Granville Street, Newark on Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 PM. A prayer service will be held at 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
