Wanda I. Reed

Wanda I. Reed, age 67 of Circleville, passed away unexpectedly Sunday December 27, 2009. Wanda was born in Stoutsville to the late Don and Blanche Reed. She graduated from Stoutsville High School. Class of 1960. She owned and operated Pickaway Dusters Inc. for over 20 years. Wanda was a very active and faithful member of Community United Methodist Church, especially the Filling Station youth program. She was an avid reader, loved to travel, and shop. Wanda looked forward each year to hosting her get together for family and friends during Pumpkin Show. She will be greatly missed for her loving and giving nature to the community and those in need. In addition to her parents, Wanda is preceded in death by her brother Harold Reed; and sister Donna Swackhammer. She is survived by her children Tyler (Lori) McCain and Kellie McCain, both of Nashville TN and their father Henry McCain; brother Paul (Ann) Reed; twin sister Brenda (Jim) Hoover; she was an incredible Grandma to her 4 grandchildren Emily (Zac) Elliott, Hillary (Jordan) Marcellino, Abby and Jonathan McCain; special nephew Jeff Swackhammer and other nephews and nieces. Wanda’s family will receive friends 5-8 PM Tuesday and 11 – 1 PM Wednesday at the DEFENBAUGH-WISE- SCHOEDINGER FUNERAL HOME 151 E. Main St. Circleville. Funeral service 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Barry Burns officiating.
