Wanda Gail Ellis, age 84, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on May 1, 2023. She was born on April 17, 1939 in Kessler, WV to the late Orville and Alma (Brumfield) Burton. Wanda was one of sixteen children growing up. She joins in death her husband Jimmy Ellis Sr.; son Michael; grandchildren Johnny, Travis, Amber and daughter in law Tabatha Ellis. She leaves behind her children Peggy Brandon (Bud Noble), Belinda F. (Wesley) Meeks and Jimmy Ellis Jr.; grandchildren Joshua, Nate, Zach and Logan; 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. Visitation will be held on Thursday May 4, 2023 from 2PM to 5PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremations by Schoedinger – Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204. Burial will be held on Friday May 5, 2023 at 1PM in Sugar Creek Cemetery in Gassaway, West Virginia. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Wanda’s name to the Autism Awareness Foundation -Donations Processing Center at Autism Speaks, P.O. Box 37148, Boone, IA 50037-0148.
