Violet A. Ramsey, age 83, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013. Violet was a mother, homemaker, and office manager for her and her husband Robert's business, Ramsey Plumbing Company. Violet attended Columbus West High School, January class of 1948 and enjoyed cooking, her family, her dogs, and trips throughout Ohio with her husband. She was a member of the "Homebuilders" Class at Burgess Avenue United Methodist Church, where she established long-lasting friendships. Violet is preceded in death by her parents Ralph Ward and Fleta Valentine (Turnbull) Burns, brothers William and John Ward, husband Robert, and sister and brother-in-laws Eloise and Charles Kuder. Violet is survived by her children, Robert Douglas Ramsey (Ezequiel Quiñones) and Ellen Ramsey; brother, Paul (Nancy) Ward; nieces and nephews, Rita (Dick) Doyle, Charles (Georgette) Kuder, Linda (Rick) Soell, Nancy McPherson, and David (Debbie) Ward; and various wonderful grand nieces and nephews. Cherished friends include Joan Sherlock, Evelyn Rowe, Carol Lehman, Coni Woessner, and Debi Hastilow. Per her wishes, burial was earlier in the week. Services provided by SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL.
