He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Tina, his two children Eva and David, his mother Mary Zielinski, sister Nancy Negrini, and brother Dan Zielinski. He was preceded in death by his sister Lori Shalawylo and his father Thomas Zielinski.
Tom was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1957. He graduated from his beloved alma mater, Michigan State, receiving a degree in engineering arts. Tom also went on to obtain an MBA degree from Dayton University. His career pursuits centered on various manufacturing positions where he always displayed an unwavering work ethic and meticulous commitment to getting things done right.
Tom loved hunting and fishing, and he always held close to his heart any time spent with his family and friends. He treated everyone he encountered with kindness.
Tom was extraordinarily brave throughout his illness which never took away his hope or his faith in God. In order to raise awareness to the disease that took Tom's life, the family requests donations to The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in his name.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 29th at 12PM at Church of the Resurrection, 6300 E. Dublin Granville Rd, New Albany, OH 43054.
