Thomas H. Burt, age 77, passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital on Monday, February 7, 2011. He was born in Williamstown, W.Va., on September 14, 1933, to the late Dr. Joseph H. and Mijee Burt. Thomas graduated from Worthington High School where he excelled in football and track. He then attended the Ohio State University College of Business and was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. While in college, he enlisted in the US Army and served in Germany before returning to complete his Bachelor’s Degree. Thomas owned an industrial supplies business and was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Upper Arlington. He loved living in the country and being in the outdoors. Most of all, he loved his family and was always there to support them in everything they did. Thomas is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nancy Burt; children, Craig (Terri) Burt and Christopher (Becky) Burt; granddaughter, Brittany Nicole Bynum; and other family members and friends. Family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2011, at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road.
