Thelma L. Woods

Thelma L. (Doddridge) Woods, formerly of South Shore, Ky., passed away on September 28, 2010. She was a loving mother, former teacher and co-partner in S&W Fabrics in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and the C.R. Woods Wholesale Co. of Columbus, Ohio. She was a member of the Church of the Redeemer United Methodist. Preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Stella Doddridge; husband of 58 years, C.R. “Woodsie” Woods; and sister, Norma Calhoun. She is survived by son, Larry (Sandy) Woods; grandchildren, Scott (Tambra) Woods, Vicki Fadorsen, and Steve (Nikki) Woods; sister, Eileen Ramey; brother, Stan (Eloise) Doddridge; and great grandchildren, Colton and Tyler Woods, Nicholas, Ryan, Zachary and Connor Fadorsen, and Railee and Garrett Woods. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 2, at the funeral home with Rev. Sue Ellen Miller officiating. Entombment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
