Terrence “Terry” L. Beard, 80, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on March 25, 2025. He was born May 9, 1944, in Oakland, CA, the son of the late Evelyn M. Beard. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Russell Beard.
Terrence served in the United States Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division during the Vietnam War. He was a retired Sheet Metal Worker who enjoyed riding his motorcycle and traveling. Terrence lived a full life and was cherished by many. He will be greatly missed.
Terrence is survived by his daughters Loretta Hanvey and Evelyn R. Beard, as well as grandchildren Camden Beard, Max Alderman, Alec VonIns, and Jordan VonIns.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will take place at 1:00pm Friday, April 11, 2025, at Schoedinger Northwest, 1740 Zollinger Rd, Columbus, OH 43221. In lieu of flowers, we encourage donations in Terry’s name to the Alzheimer's Association.
