Suzanne M. Cornelius

Suzanne Maria Cornelius, age 59, Wednesday, November 30, 2016, after a brief illness. Suzie was born February 7, 1957, to Bertrand and Ruth Cornelius. She grew up in Clintonville on Walhalla Road and spent summers at Brookside Country Club, where she swam and routinely wandered into the clubhouse kitchen where the cook fed her pancakes. Suzie knew no strangers and had an endearing character. She worked at Meijers on Hamilton Road as a bagger but couldn't keep herself from fussing over babies. She worked at the Goodwill store but couldn't quit shopping long enough to help customers. She worked at Goodwill Industries but got tired of buttons and zippers. Suzie had retired but still hung out at Goodwill, enjoyed short trips, working out, and chilling in her room with CHiPS, Miami Vice, Adam 12, and Arnold. She will be missed by roommates Kathy and Donna. Suzie was very loving to her family, and is survived by her siblings Barbara (Carl) Crooks of Lock, Ohio; Monika Nolte of Wales, UK; Nancy (Ron) Davis of New Albany, Ohio; and Michael Cornelius, Columbus, Ohio. Family will receive friends Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.
