Steven was born on April 15, 1951 in Columbus, to the late Benjamin Scott and Nora Yoli. He graduated from South High School Class of ’69. In 1978 he met Miss Donna Miller and on November 18, 1978 they united in marriage and shared over 32 years together before his passing. In his youth, he was involved in the Golden Gloves Boxing, and became a 1976 Olympic Heavy weight Alternate in Montreal Canada. Steven was also an avid Buckeyes, and Chicago Bears fan. As his family said he was very animated during games showing his passion for the sport. He was a man that loved his family and his faith, and was not afraid to give advice to his family and friends when he felt it was needed. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by his step father Anthony Yoli; grandparents Sarah and John Riddlebaugh;
His survivors include his wife Donna of Columbus; children, Brent, Nick, Aaron, Carrie, and Elizabeth; grandfather of 10; brother of Mario Yoli, Danny Yoli, and Rhonda Yoli-Atchenson; father in law Kenneth Miller; brother in law of Steve and Phil Miller and families. He is also survived by his aunt Roberta Riddlebaugh and many other loving relatives and friends. The family will be receiving friends at the Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St. Columbus, OH on Wednesday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. A Mass of Christain Burial will be held on Thursday January 27, 2011 at the St. Agnes Catholic church at 2364 W. Mound St. at 10:30am with Fr. Homer Blubaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
