Steven M. Jones

Steven Michael Jones, age 48, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at Mount Carmel Medical Center. He was born in Columbus on May 4, 1963, and attended Central High School. Steve worked as an auto mechanic, and he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his siblings, Sherry, Robert (Rebecca) and their daughters Robyn Wachtler and Amanda (Bobby) Villers, Roy (Jean), Ricky (Debbie), Bill (Pam), Donnie, Ronnie (Heather), and Jim (Sue); several children, including David (Tabitha), Dusty, and Amber (Ron); grandchildren, Kaydence, Ethan, Isaiah, Ian, and Isaac; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Joan Jones; brother, David; and grandchildren, Ielijah and Zach. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2011, at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Alton Cemetery.
