Stella J Schrader

She was born in Columbus, Ohio on November 22, 1962, to the late Thurman and Virgie Murphy. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Delbert, Timothy and Larry Murphy.

She leaves behind her children, Shirley (Joseph) Held, Shelly (Scott) Schrader, and Woody (Candace) Schrader; an adopted daughter Amelia Fain, her grandchildren, Leigh, Lauren, Leon and Isaac, her brother, William (Dorsey) Murphy and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends with whom she loved with all her heart.

Stella was a loving mother and maw maw. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren laughing and being silly. She also loved animals, especially cats, and owned many in her lifetime. She was lovingly known as the “crazy cat lady.” She loved diamond painting with her best friend and cousin Linda Murphy and you could often find the two of them together drinking Starbucks Frappuccinos.

Stella touched many lives in special ways. She is loved beyond measure and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
