Sidney Ann Dill, nee Coles, age 90, passed from this life at home on August 28, 2023, after a brief illness. Sid was born March 17, 1933, in Lansing, Michigan to Cleo Edward Coles and Laura Dickinson (Wells) Coles. She taught in Kalamazoo and Columbus schools before and after her 1957 marriage to Garrett S. Dill Jr., DVM, who predeceased her. She served for many years as a docent at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and was an enthusiastic supporter of the Columbus Symphony.
Sidney is survived by her children Laura Dill Morton, Brian Dill (Marcy), Matthew Dill (Shannon); grandchildren Michael Dill (Katelyn), Josh Dill, John Morton (Abby Finley), Caitlin Dill, Matthew Morton, Aaron Dill and Tyler Dill; nieces Susan Somerfleck Crosby (Edward) and Kathryn Coles and nephews David Somerfleck and Daniel Somerfleck (Carol).
