Shirley Ann McAvoy

Shirley A. McAvoy died on February 1, 2022 at the age of 93. She was a fabulous woman, wife, mother, and grandmother. Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Paul McAvoy. She is survived by her sister, Mary Jane Allen, her daughters, Melanie (Csaba) McAvoy, Marcia (Joe) Papek, and her only granddaughter, Jaclyn Papek.

Shirley was an exceptional woman. She was generous, kind, talented, and intelligent. She loved to laugh and thought everyone should laugh at least once a day. Shirley loved learning and knowledge, which she passed onto her daughters and granddaughter. She enjoyed all that life offered, especially the times she spent with her husband, family, and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.

Shirley was just fabulous, that is all there is to it. The world has lost a wonderful human being.

Per Shirley's wishes, there will be no funeral or service. She would like everyone to remember her as she lived.
