Shirley M. Archer

Shirley M. Archer, age 85, of Canal Winchester and formerly of Reynoldsburg, died Sunday, October 23, 2022 in Canal Winchester. She was born in Durham, NC on January 31, 1937 to the late Arnold A. and Polly A. Lyerly. Shirley was also preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, George Keith Archer and brother, Arnold C. Lyerly and several nephews. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Annie Lyerly, of TX; nieces and nephews, Kandy (Ralph) Deemer, Kathy (Bruce) Liston, Phil (Nancy) Landes, Robin (P. J.) Wood; many other nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews from all over the United States. Shirley was a graduate of Hamilton Township High School and a member of Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church, American Legion Post # 283 in Pickerington, OH; Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Republican Club of Reynoldsburg. Her career started at Grange Mutual Casualty Co. for 8 years, Beacon Mutual Insurance Co for 15 years; and for the next 21 years worked at various jobs with attorneys, insurance agents, surgeons, home care company, appraisers and CPA’s. Funeral Service will be held 12 Noon Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church, 1636 Graham Road, where family and friends may call from 11:00 am-12 Noon Saturday. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Bob E.
