Sheila Ann Footes

Sheila A. Footes, age 68, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, October 3, 2024. Sheila was born on August 26, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan to James Richard and Lillie Belle Norman. She worked as a home health aide for many years caring for others. Sheila cherished her shopping trips and could not pass up a good thrift store, yard, or garage sale. She enjoyed her TV shows, cleaning, Mountain Dew and Reese's Cups. She will be remembered as being kind, loving, direct and to the point. Preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillie; brother, Melvin Johnson and sister, Constance Cunningham all of Detroit, MI. Survived by her children, Benjamin (Deanna) Footes of Philadelphia, PA; Angel “Sissy” Footes of Columbus, OH; Jackie Footes of Columbus, OH; and special daughter, Kayla Miller of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Deja and Benjamin III Footes of Philadelphia, PA; brother, Richard Norman of Pickerington, OH; sisters, Sabrina Witcher of Kimball, WV, Angela Parker and Kay Frances Flowers both of San Diego, CA; a host of nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 4:00 pm. Family and friends are welcome to gather from 3-4 pm to visit with the family prior to the service at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services by Schoedinger Hilltop, 3030 W.
