Russel Eugene Lantz

Russel Eugene Lantz, age 81, died May 20, 2010. He was born March 30, 1929 in Champaign County, Ohio to John and Elizabeth Lantz. Veteran of US Navy. Retired North American Rockwell after 33 years. A member of Church of the Redeemer United Methodist, where he was a member of his beloved choir. Past Master and Member of Caledonia F&AM Lodge #416. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, James and Robert Lantz. Russel is survived by his loving wife, Ellen (Snoke) Lantz; sister, Barbara (Jim) Bails; son, Christofer (Kerry) Lantz; step son, Ron (Karen) Snoke; step daughters, Peggie (Dan) Hoffman, Teri Armbruster, and Sheri Caveda; Special Grandchildren, Todd, Trent, and Trisha Hoffman; numerous other grandchildren; one great grandchild; many nieces and nephews; and many, many wonderful friends. At Russel’s request, he will be cremated and there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Church of the Redeemer United Methodist, 235 McNaughten Road Columbus, OH 43213.
