Ruby Ann North

Ruby Ann North, age 86, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017. She was born in Huntington, WV on March 14, 1931 to the late Ira and Georgie (Cross) Thomas. Ruby worked in Customer Relations for General Electric where she retired after many dedicated years of service. Ruby was a great mother with a charismatic smile and a caring heart. Her presence would light up a room. She loved to travel, but also enjoyed being home for family gatherings, where she was surrounded by those she loved so dearly. Ruby loved life and having a good time. She could be found gambling or at a poker table, bowling or exploring. She lived life to its fullest and will be dearly missed by all. Ruby is survived by her 4 children, Vicki (David) Dixon, Sandra (Stephen) Sowards; Lucky (Valeria Dugan) Belleville, Alan (Julie) North; sister, Lee (James) Wood; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grand and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Ronald North and husband, Danny Rex North; brothers, James and Donald (Marcella) Thomas. Family will receive friends Monday, September 25, 2017, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Tuesday, September 26, 2017 10:00 am - 11:00am at the Schoedinger North Chapel 5554 Karl Rd, Columbus, OH 43229 where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, 11:00 am.
