          It's hard.

I'm the first of six girls. With my dad's death, there is a hole in my heart and life. Dad was the one that taught me how to sew. I was in the 4th grade with 4-H. He was the one that showed me how to braid my hair, it was down to my waist. Dad was always there when I needed help and also when I didn't. He will be missed very much. There will not be a day go by that I  won't remember him. 
 Dad - I love you very much. I'll remember watching THE Ohio State Buckeyes and WV Mountaineers football and Cleveland Cavaliers basketball. They will always be special to me.

every sunday we would go over and he would get us in trouble and it was done in fun but he had a way to make everybody laugh and he made us feel better.

I am the youngest of the six girls....the baby...and daddy's girl.I have such a tremendous hole in my heart and my life now.I scared him years ago when I decided to take a break between my junior and senior years of nursing school.It was one of the few times in my life that I saw my Dad cry.I told him he had to trust me...that I needed to live life some before pursuing my career.I went back after that year off and graduated in 1992.He expected great things from me and I hope I fulfilled his expectations.There will never be a day that I won't think about him and be sad that he is gone.I know he is in a better place but I wish he was still here.

Dad was all about being the strictest parent, and tried to be teach us about being indepenant, all the while making us family oriented. I think I was the most stubborn of his brood of 6 girls, but I finally wore him down. He always gave people second chances, unless the hurt was too deep, which was not very often the case. If he did not understand, he never hesitated to ask questions and really listen so he could absorb the full intention of the meaning.(Thanx dad).
I remember when I was about 16, I went with him to the lab on several Saturdays to add and label all of the teeth for the new cabinets. He tried to teach me about them. Where they are in your mouth, the differences in the shades, and sometimes if there were some that needed to be "worked on", he delighted in showing me how to actually make and repair dentures. Not knowing I was being taught a lesson of discipline. Funny - I discussed how I  wish had learned his craft way back when. This explains why I like to have all of my money one way, everything neatly stacked or filed. Everything has a place, and a place for everyting. He made sure that each of us got something special for Christmas. Mom was in charge of birthdays, but if dad found something, we got a "special" surprise. He was, I think trying to make up for not being able to provide better when we were kids. We never complained because we understood. 
  Love is Love, and I thank him and Love him for loving me enough to understand.
  
I will miss him and love him throughout eternity.
