Ronald Lee Foltz

Ronald Lee Foltz, age 76, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012. He was born in Carroll, Ohio on September 3, 1936. Ron was the owner of Ron’s Home Furnishings. Ron loved pigeons; he was a former member of the Pigeon Club in Columbus and raced homing pigeons. He also enjoyed talking on his CB Radio going by the handles, “128” and “Peddler”. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Jacob Foltz and Josephine Ackers; and sister in-law, Margie Foltz. He is survived by his daughters, Gwen (Jim) Stark, Lynne (Larry) Vanvorhis, and Nikki Foltz-Rothe; grandchildren, Amy, Wayne III, Tyler, and Erica Powell, Heather (Justin) Spafford, Nicholas and Kelli Frazee, and Conor Rothe; great grandchildren, Arianna Powell and Logan Spafford; brother, Bill Foltz; and many other loving family members. Friends may call on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway Grove City where the funeral service will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 1:00PM. Celebrant Andrew Hoover officiating. Graveside service will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 3:00PM at Dayton National Cemetery, VAMC, 4100 W. Third St., Dayton, Ohio 45428. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
