Roma Jeanne (Hittle) Blair was born August 30, 1931, in Indianapolis, Indiana and died November 21, 2021, in Sarasota, Florida. She was preceded in death by husband David H. Blair; parents Kenneth and Roma Hittle; and nephew Scott Morley. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law David and Kristi Blair; grandchildren Tera and Hunter Blair; sister and brother-in-law Vicki and Paul Morley; nephews Kenneth Morley (Audra); great-nephews and several cousins. Roma was a graduate of Ohio State University College of Education where she was a member of the Alumnae Association. She was also a member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority, Chimes and Mortar Board honoraries. She was employed as a teacher in Worthington Schools, a training officer for the U.S. Government, personal assistant at what was formerly Industrial Nucleonics and executive secretary at First Community Church, where she was also a member for 71 years. Roma served at First Community Church in numerous capacities. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, December 10, 2021 at First Community Church, 1320 Cambridge Blvd., Columbus, Ohio 43212 with Jim Long and Dr. Richard Wing officiating. Friends may greet the family following the service until 1:00pm. Private burial will be in the Columbarium of First Community Church.
