Roger L. Scott

Roger L. Scott, age 73, of Columbus, Ohio was called home to be with the Lord on Monday November 21st, 2022, after a battle with Glioblastoma (GBM) brain cancer. Roger was the owner and operator of Scott’s Hauling and Scott’s Enterprise LLC. of Columbus, Ohio for the last 35 Years. He use to race his race car at Columbus Motor Speedway years ago and loved watching the NASCAR races on T.V. He loved sitting around talking with family and friends, sitting on the couch watching old T.V. shows and movies (He loved it more when a grand baby or 2 was right there watching along). He loved the outdoors and traveling. He especially loved turning an hour car ride into hour long car rides! There wasn’t nothing or nobody he didn’t love, but he especially loved his family and babies. Roger is preceded in death by his Mother, Hazel Scott; Father, Leonard Scott; Maternal Grandma, Emma; Daughter, Stephanie; Son-in-law, Lonny; Sister, Virginia Dale Scott; Brothers, Kenneth Scott, Harold Scott and Arnold Scott; Sister-in-law, Jeanette Scott; Brother-in-laws, Johnny, Donald and Billy; Nephew, Arnold Scott JR; First Wife, Judith and Second Wife, Linda. Roger is survived by wife of 29 years, Bobbie Scott; Sons, Randy, Fallen, Willis (Hope), Blake (Briana), Carson, Josh, Max and Jesus; Daughters, Teresa, Kimberly, Brandy (Charles), Hazel, Crysha (Emilio), Bree-Lynn and Kylynn. Grandchildren, Michael, Judy (Ahmed), Heather, LJ, Sleven, Gemini, Ryan, Brenton, Faith, Charles, Tristan, Allyssa, Maya, Heavenah, Aliza, Amya, Awilla, Alayna, Avaya; his 2 side arms Arella & Mariana and his shadow Faleisha. Great Grandson Luke. Sisters, Brenda (Jesse), Linda, Sharron (Tommy), Joyce, and Debbie. Brothers, Ricky, Randy, Ronnie and Bobby; Mother-in-law Peg; Brother-in-laws, Rick and Wayne and many nieces and nephews and other family and friends along with extended family.

Visitation will be Monday November 28th from 4PM - 7pm at Heart & Hope by Schoedinger-Hilltop located at 3030 West Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204. Funeral Services will be at 11AM Tuesday November 29th, at Heart & Hope by Schoedinger-Hilltop where burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery located at 1000 Greenlawn Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43223.
