Robert Eugene Wood, DDS

Robert (Bob) Eugene Wood D.D.S., age 85, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023. Bob was born on February 17, 1938 to Robert Knox and Elsie Wood in East Liberty, Ohio. He was married to the love of his life, Daylene (aka “Charlie”), in 1960. They were childhood sweethearts and their lives together were filled with love, devotion, support, and most of all happiness. They had three daughters and four grandchildren. Bob graduated from North High School and received a D.D.S. degree from The Ohio State University. He practiced dentistry in Columbus, for 30 years. His true passion (besides Daylene), was a beautiful home he built on Apple Valley Lake, where he spent time boating, golfing, and relaxing with family and friends for 38 years. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and wife Daylene. He is survived by his loving family, daughters Kelly Scott, Kerry Gardner (Bob), Kim Cummings (Mark); grandchildren Emily, Lindsey, Mitchell Cummings and J.R. Headley.
