Robert H. Summerfield

Robert H. Summerfield, age 70, passed away at Grady Memorial Hospital on Saturday, March 17, 2012. He was born on August 20, 1941 in Gahanna to the late Frank and Ruth Summerfield. Robert worked for many years at Buckeye Steel, retiring after a long and successful career. He enjoyed playing cards and sharing his love of golf with his grandchildren. Robert had a great sense of humor, and loved spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his brother, Michael. He is survived by his loving wife, Doris; children, Robert (Ivy) Summerfield, Jr., Sandra (Dave) Conrad, Sheryl Powell, Deborah (Keith) Edwards, and Bub (Karlene) Sykes; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and brothers, Frank, Jr. (Deanna) and James (Cathy).
